Carlos Fonseca

Carlos Fonseca, born in Costa Rica in 1987 and raised in Puerto Rico, explores the literary and political history and present of Latin America in his work. In addition to his work as a writer, Fonseca is a lecturer in Latin American literature and cultural studies at Trinity College, Cambridge. His three novels, "Colonel Lágrimas" (2015), "Museo animal" (2017), and "Austral" (2022), have been translated into more than ten languages. The German translation of "Austral" was published by Klaus Wagenbach Verlag in 2024.
